The best time to visit these cities is from October to March, as the weather is pleasant and perfect for exploring the many temples and holy sites.

Route and Accessibility:
Varanasi, Prayagraj (formerly known as Allahabad), and Ayodhya are well connected by rail and road with all major cities in India. Varanasi also has an international airport for global accessibility. You could start with Varanasi, take a train or bus to Prayagraj, and then move to Ayodhya, which is about 4-5 hours by road from both Varanasi and Prayagraj.

Accommodation and Booking:
Varanasi, Prayagraj, and Ayodhya have a good provision of accommodation suitable for all budgets, from luxury hotels to budget stays. It's advisable to book the accommodations online, during the season times it tends to get quite busy due to pilgrims' influx.

Clothing and Essentials:
Light cotton clothes would be ideal considering the usually tropical weather. Don't forget to pack a good pair of comfortable shoes for all the walking. As these are religious cities, modest dressing is recommended. Seasons apply, so pack accordingly. Do carry essential medicines and a first aid kit.

Health and Safety:
Maintain good personal hygiene and be mindful of the water and food you consume. Avoid tap water and always choose bottled. Vaccination like Hepatitis A and B, Typhoid, Rabies, Yellow Fever, etc. are advised before going to India.

Local Etiquette and Respect:
When visiting temples or other religious sites, respect the customs and traditions. It's customary to remove your shoes before entering a holy place. Some temples may not permit leather items inside. It's recommended to ask locals or observe others to understand the etiquette of each place.
