Travel Tips

Currency: EUR Time Zone: Central European Time (UTC +1) Language: Spanish

Hi! Exciting plans! Spain is a vibrant country loaded with rich history and culture.

Best Time to Visit:
The ideal time to visit Spain specifically Barcelona, Valencia, Madrid, and Ibiza is from April to June (spring) and from September to November (fall) when the weather is pleasant and the tourist crowds are less dense. Ibiza, being a beach destination, is especially popular during summer (June to August).

Route and Accessibility:
Spain's transportation system is well developed. You can start in Barcelona, travel by train or bus to Valencia, from Valencia you can continue to Madrid and onward to Ibiza by a short flight. Alternatively, both domestic and international flights are available for all these cities.

Accommodation and Booking:
You'll find plenty of accommodations ranging from budget hostels to luxury hotels in all these cities. Advance booking via online platforms such as Booking.com, Airbnb, or through hotel websites is highly recommended especially during the high season.

Clothing and Essentials:
Pack lightweight, breathable clothes for the summers, along with comfortable footwear, sunglasses, sunscreen and a hat. During spring and fall, layers are the best option, as temperatures can vary. Don't forget a swimsuit for Ibiza.

Health and Safety:
Spain is pretty safe for travelers with no major health risks. However, standard travel insurance for health issues and theft is always a good idea. Beware of pickpockets particularly in crowded tourist areas.

Local Etiquette and Respect:
Spanish people appreciate politeness and respect for personal space. Casual attire is acceptable most places, but be mindful if visiting religious sites. Late dinners are common in Spain, often starting after 9 PM.
